Electrical Harness Hi-Pot & Continuity Tester (with part marking)

Puritan can design and manufacture custom electronics with a broad range of applications. This customer required a eight-conductor high pot and continuity tester to test automotive gas guage harnesses.

The tester must also mark good parts using a high-speed inscriber.

As this tester is used on the production line, it is designed with simplicty of operation, including a supervisory lock-out feature to control bad parts.

Within the control box of the tester resides a custom circuit board that utilizes a microcontroller and embedded software written specifically for this application.
