In-Vehicle Data Acquisition System

Ford Motor Company contracted Puritan to manufacture its proprietary 2nd generation In-Vehicle Data Acquisition System (DIVAS II) for Ford R&D facilities throughout the world. These data acquisition systems are built in two variants; vehicle ride and base handling systems.

Some of the typical tests that DIVAS performs include vehicle dynamics, noise & vibration, brake system development, steering and suspension validation and ride development. This comprehensive and complex piece of test equipment helps Ford attain large channel counts and address high bandwidth requirements.
