Washer Fluid Heater Production EOL Test System

Our client was developing a washer fluid heating system and required a production end-of-line test system that would perform a comprehensive functionality test, two parts at a time.

The system was able to measure load current and quiescent current (the latter being the measurement of Sleep Mode of the device).

This end-of-line test system first performed a pneumatical leak test, followed by operational checks of the DUT, including temperature, pressure, current draw, and microprocessor operation.

The tester included color recognition sensors to check wire orientation and a restricted bad-part bin with a machine lock down feature.
