PEC500 20″ Four-Wheel-Drive Chassis Dynamometer

Similar to the previous photograph, this PEC500 4X4 chassis dynamometer is equipped with 20″ rolls in a ‘cradle’ configuration.

The system is used for Product Development, Performance and Validation of powertrain components.

The Digital Dynamometer Control System permits operation in two and four wheel drive, (mechanically-coupled or uncoupled), and will simulate vehicle mass (inertia), Road Load conditions and Gradient Simulation.

Four wheel drive chassis dynamometers are equipped with motorized traversing floor-plates for quick vehicle changeover.
